Source handling
CSV imports are normalized, deduplicated, scored for field completeness, and gated before any company page
becomes publicly visible. Records with implausible or missing core fields are excluded from indexable
pages. Missing source values are left blank — they are not replaced with invented data.
FMCSA Company Census File

The FMCSA Company Census File is a public dataset available from the U.S. Department of Transportation open data platform. It contains motor carrier identification, entity type, operating status, fleet fields, address, and MCS-150 date information for registered carriers and other FMCSA-regulated entities.
Update expectation: The dataset is updated periodically by FMCSA. CarrierDataHub imports reflect the date shown in the build metadata on the Methodology page.
Imported fields are used as directory display data only. Verify current authority, safety status, and operating information through official FMCSA systems.
