Data Quality Policy

CarrierDataHub uses public FMCSA source fields to create directory pages. A record must pass completeness and source checks before it is allowed into indexable company pages.

Indexability review

Records are checked for legal name, USDOT number, state, city or address, entity type, source name, source update date, and field-completeness score. Records marked as sample, duplicate, placeholder, or below the quality threshold are not intended for search indexing.

This gate is a content-quality control, not an approval of the company. A complete record can still be stale or require current verification.

Correction handling

Correction requests are reviewed as display or source-mapping issues. When a public source field is wrong, the official source should be corrected first whenever possible. CarrierDataHub can update how a field is displayed or mapped, but it does not override official records with private claims.
