What this directory is

CarrierDataHub is a static public-data directory for U.S. trucking company and motor carrier lookup. It organizes public fields from the FMCSA Company Census dataset — a public file released by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration — and presents them as browsable, linkable pages by state, city, and individual company record.

The current build includes 5,000 company records sourced from public FMCSA data. Each indexed record passed a field-completeness quality check before its page was made publicly visible. Records that did not meet the minimum threshold are excluded from search engine indexing.

What this directory is not

  • Not affiliated with FMCSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any government agency.
  • Not a real-time compliance tool. Records reflect a point-in-time import from public source data.
  • Not a carrier rating or recommendation service. No company on this site is endorsed or ranked.
  • Not a substitute for official FMCSA systems when authority, safety status, or insurance verification matters.

How pages are built

Pages are generated statically from structured data records. If a source field is blank, the page shows nothing — not a placeholder or an invented value. Operating status, authority status, fleet fields, and addresses are displayed as imported; they may be stale and should be verified in official systems.

Field explanations on individual pages use the same language as the source data where possible. The glossary and guides explain common trucking data fields for users who are less familiar with public motor carrier records.
